This project took nearly 3 years to complete. When I first started at Kentucky Interactive the original plans to migrate the site from MCMS to SharePoint were long under way. It wasn’t until Dec 8, 2016 that all the content was finally migrated, the look and feel finalized, and finally moved into production.

My role in the project was to:

  • Lead DPA into a more simpler navigation
  • Assist with migration of content
  • Teach best practice of HTML
  • Fully design the sites look and feel

Along the way I had the chance to reconnect with an old college friend who now works for DPA.

The site went through 3 different Web Designers, and 4 different iterations of styles. The final outcome turned out really nice! During the process I was spending a lot extra time working with Google Analytics. You may notice some similarities here and there. What can I say? Google knows how to make a good looking site.
